Leeds weather updates: Thunderstorm predicted for England vs India, 1st Test Day 2

India continued to assert control on the second day of the opening Test of the five-match series against England, as Rishabh Pant scored the third hundred of the innings for the team on Saturday.

But, India’s charge at the Headingley is likely to halted by a spell of rains predicted for later on Saturday.

As per the BBC’s weather report, Leeds is supposed to have heavy showers with thunder around 4 PM (BST), towards the end of the second session and the beginning of the third.

The weather report also predicts light rain towards 5 PM local time, meaning there is a possibility of loss of overs in Day 2.
