Why Israel waged war against Iran? Army shared the video

Amid the ongoing war with Iran, Israeli’s defense forces (IDF) shared a video on Friday (June 20, 2025) and claimed that Iran attacked a children’s center in Southern Israel. In this 24 -second video, it looks like a crush, in which toys are scattered.

The video shared by the IDF shows dust and debris at 3 seconds, which seems to be at the time when the missile attacked the site. However, no child appeared in the video of the attack during that time.

It is not clear from the video shared by Israel whether the children’s center is connected to Soroka Hospital in Soroca, South city, which was targeted by Iran on Thursday. The Iranian attack caused heavy damage to the entrance hall of the hospital and many departments, including the eye disease department located on the third floor of the surgical building.

Dozens of people injured in Iranian attack
Due to the explosion, the hospital windows broke and glass shattered. The roofs also collapsed and the medical equipment was destroyed. The director of the hospital said that the lives of the people were saved because the part of the campus which was damaged was evacuated a few days ago. However, dozens of people have been injured in the attack.

Netanyahu attributed Iran
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the scene on Thursday and directly blamed Iran for the attack. Netanyahu said in a post on X, “We will force the oppressors in Tehran to pay a heavy price.”

What did Iran officials say?
Regarding this attack, Iranian officials said that we were not a target hospital, but the Israeli Command Post and Intelligence Facility located nearby. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement, “In this operation, the command and intelligence center near the hospital were targeted by highly accurate and directed missiles.”
