PM Modi told ‘G -7 summit’ meaningful, India said – India is the biggest democratic country


Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a video of the ‘G7 Summit’ held on Wednesday (June 18, 2025) on social media. He described the G7 conference as “meaningful” and called for strict action against terrorism.

While sharing the video, PM Modi wrote on the social media platform X, “A meaningful G-7 summit, in which many issues were discussed.”

Canadian PM Mark Carney says that it is “very respect for me” to host your (PM Modi) in G7. He said that India (in 2019 from France) is joining the G7 from Biaritz and is “proof of the importance of your country and your leadership”.

After this, the voice of PM Modi is heard in the video. He says, “India is the largest democratic country in the world. As the President of the G20 Summit, India has taken many such initiatives for the world. The strong foundation that India has laid in the G20, in the new form, is a big opportunity to take it towards its execution (implementation) in G7 in the new form and India has always been willing to use this opportunity.
