Finn Allen shattered the record for most sixes in a T20 innings, smashing 19 sixes during a Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 match between San Francisco Unicorns and Washington Freedom on Thursday.

Playing for the Unicorns, the New Zealand opener broke the previous record of 18 sixes held jointly by Chris Gayle and Sahil Chauhan. Allen blasted 151 off just 51 balls as San Francisco posted 269 for five — the highest total in MLC history.

He reached his hundred off 34 balls and raced to 150 in just 49, making it the fastest 150 in T20 cricket.

In total, 134 of his runs came via boundaries.
