Producer Salim Akhtar, who launched actresses like Rani Mukherjee and Tamannaah Bhatia, passed away

Salim Akhtar Death: Veteran producer Salim Akhtar died on 8 April. He was at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Salim Akhtar was 82 years old. Film Critic Kamal R Khan aka KRK posted and wrote that veteran film producer Salim Akhtar has passed away.

His family or any close member has not yet given official confirmation. According to reports, Salim should be handed over on April 9 at 1.30 pm.

Salim Akhtar launched Rani Mukherjee. He produced the 1997 film Raja Ki Aayi Baraj. Rani Mukherjee was in the lead role in this film. Apart from this, he also launched Tamannaah Bhatia in 2005. He produced the film Chand Sa Roshan face.
