Gaza Ceasefire deal: Ambassador Ruveen Azar in Israeli’s India has given a big statement. He has said that Hamas should release the hostages from Gaza Strip and leave power and take the path of diplomacy, otherwise Israel will control Gaza. He gave this statement while talking to India Today on Wednesday.

This statement of the ambassador has come after the heavy air strikes by Israel on Gaza. More than 400 people were killed in this attack. These attacks were the deadliest in the last two months. The almost two months old ceasefire ended in January after these attacks ended. Israel has convicted Hamas for rejecting the proposals for expansion of ceasefire. Earlier, US President Donald Trump has also spoken about capturing Gaza.

‘Appropriate to increase military pressure’

Azar said that Israel was waiting for the release of the remaining hostages by Hamas for a long time. He justified increasing military pressure on the Palestinian group with the aim of achieving diplomatic solutions to end the war.

He said, ‘We cannot continue a situation where they are holding our hostages and are not releasing them. So we decided to increase military pressure so that they could bring back our hostages and find a diplomatic solution to this struggle.

‘Will capture that area’

He said that now Hamas has only two options, if they do not cooperate in diplomacy and do not release the hostages, then we have to go there and establish control over that area and take responsibility for humanitarian aid.

The ambassador also said that Israel is ready to help the people of Gaza. When asked if Israel is creating a big buffer zone in Gaza Strip or asking people to leave Gaza completely, they dismissed it.

He clearly stated that the district is not asking Palestinians to leave Gaza. He said, ‘What we are saying is that if Hamas does not accept American proposals, then we will capture that area and clean the Gaza Strip.’
