A 24-year-old woman from Australia has been gaining attention online by sharing details about her unconventional job as a “professional girlfriend.” Ruby Jade, based in Brisbane, shares her experiences on TikTok and has also revealed how much she earns from her clients. In one of her videos, she said that her Singapore-based client has been one of her most generous so far.
According to the Mirror, he spent $5,500 (approximately Rs 3 lakh) on a two-night luxury trip for her even though they interacted for just five minutes.
“I was on floor 18 of the hotel and he was on floor eight. The only time I briefly saw him was during the flight and in the business class lounge before each flight,” Ruby told the outlet.
“Aside from that, we didn’t have any time to spend together, as I was off doing my own thing. He was more than fine with not spending time with me. And I had a wonderful trip,” she added.
The trip was part of a Valentine’s Day gift from him which also included an extra $1,000 AUD (around Rs 55,000) for her time. He also gave her presents worth $850 AUD (over 45,000) which included two books, an Amazon Alexa hub, two smart lamps, a bathmat and an outdoor rug.
He later surprised her with another expensive gift: $2,000 AUD (approx. Rs 1.10 lakh) two-night trip to Sydney. This covered her flights, accommodation and an additional $1,000 in spending money. Ruby shared that she stayed in a junior suite and had access to first-class lounges.
“I told him I was going to cover the bills for my friends, too. I met up with two other well-known creators on different days,” she said. Ruby revealed that her client also reimbursed her for any extra expenses.
This isn’t the only time Ruby has received extravagant gifts. In just a few months, she has been showered with expensive items like £490 PS5 with games, a £120 back massager and generous payments to cover fancy meals.
Many TikTok users have been fascinated by her lifestyle with some even asking for advice on how to enter the industry.
One person commented, “How do I get into the industry?” while another said, “Love this! Definitely need to do something like this.”
Someone added, “I would love to know more about this.”
