A working woman took to Reddit to rant about the cooking demands of her in-laws which soon went viral on the social media platform

A working woman took to social media to rant about how her in-laws have constantly been asking her to cook for them and even offered to give a day off to the cook so that she can make food for them.
Taking to Reddit, the woman said that she has been married for four years and has a decent income. She said that her in-laws do not live with her but they often visit her.
The woman shared how her in-laws ask her to cook every time they visit. She added that it’s not just her in-laws but even other relatives who ask her to cook despite having paid cooks at home.
She said that the situation was further aggravated when her father-in-law said, “I want to give your cook a holiday one day and have you cook. I lost it. I just smiled and said no. And came into my room.”
Sharing her household problems, the woman – who goes by the handle BetterEveryday36 – asked Redditors if she was overreacting.
The woman’s post soon went viral with multiple Redditors suggesting the ways in which she should deal with her in-laws.
Redditors React To Viral Post, Offer Woman Ways To Deal With In-Laws
Reacting to the woman’s post, various Redditors offered her ways to deal with her in-laws and asked about her husband’s stance.
To this, the woman replied that her husband had already asked her in-laws not to make such demands but they didn’t listen to him.
A Redditor, reacting to his father-in-law’s demand to give a one-day holiday to a cook, said, “It’s not his household to decide these things. If he is so charitable, why doesn’t he cook??”
Another Redditor asked the woman to take a stand for herself.
“From your in-laws pov you are already a vamp, so just take a stand for yourself and be the vamp they think you are. Next time they say stuff like this be like if you are so interested in cooking, I can ask the cook to take leave till you guys are staying so that you can cook,” said the Redditor.
One of the Redditors came up with a deadly solution for the woman’s problem.
“Order some Indian dish from Zomato/Swiggy. Add extra salt and mirchi and stir it to mix it well. Garnish with dhaniya on top and serve them with love. They won’t ask you to cook ever again,” the Redditor said.
