A Bengaluru man went through an “extremely scary episode” in a Rapido cab after asking the driver to turn on the AC. What began as a verbal altercation quickly escalated when the driver demanded that he exit the car and cancel the ride. When he refused, the driver allegedly turned his keychain into a sharp mini knife and held it against his chest.
The man managed to escape and filed a complaint with Rapido, but that only made things worse. He claims the driver shared his phone number, leading to a barrage of OTP messages every 15 minutes. The man has now filed a police complaint against the driver.
