Travelling long distances with a furry companion can often be a stressful affair, especially with larger dogs. Many airlines impose strict restrictions on pet travel, confining them to cramped bags or suffering the stress of flying in cargo. However, one lucky Dalmatian named Spotty recently enjoyed a luxurious journey in business class with its owner on a Singapore Airlines flight from Singapore to Tokyo.

The Swiss Dalmatian is currently winning hearts online after she travelled in style for the 5.5-hour flight without any disturbance or loo breaks. The owner recently shared a video of their travel that has left the internet stunned. In the clip, the four-year-old canine can be sitting at an airport lounge. Moving on, the clip gave a glimpse of the dog sitting in her business class seat upon boarding the plane.

In the clip, the user shows the dog wagging her tail while sitting upright, catching a quick nap, and watching a film. During the five-and-a-half-hour flight, Spotty was seen on her best behaviour with no signs of flight anxiety.

As expected, the clip went immensely viral on social media, leaving users both stunned and amazed. Internet users flocked to the comments section of the post to share their views. A majority of users were astonished by the well-behaved dog, and they praised him for being so calm throughout the journey; others wondered if Spotty took any bathroom breaks during the flight.

“She’s the best girl! My favourite travel influencer” wrote a user.

Another said, “He is behaving better than many humans.”

“Super cute. How does it work when they need to do their business? I’ve not travelled with a dog before. You’d tend to them last thing, of course, but then?” stated a user.

An account remarked, “I have 5 Dalmatians, I wish I could bring them on together.”

“I have watched this three times and love it so much!” another individual wrote.

Answering a user who asked the dog parent how he manages the potty breaks during flights, the owner replied, “It was just 5.5 hours from Singapore to Tokyo on an 8 am flight. No breakfast, and no water until one hour before landing, and she was perfectly fine, she’s very well trained and ate like normal as soon as we landed. Had some pee pads as a backup just in case!”

In the comments section, the user also clarified the queries of internet users who were curious to know if Dalmatians were allowed to travel in a business class seat instead of being transported in cargo. He wrote, “Hello, Spotty is a registered service dog for those people who are asking. Singapore Airlines only allows fully vaccinated, government vet-certified, registered service dogs in the cabin as far as I’m aware.”

With more than 5.5 million views and counting, the now-viral video continues to garner attention online and leave viewers in awe.
