‘A package of Rs 3.6 lakh is not bad for engineers’, debate on the salary of freshers on social media

Anyone starts their career as a fresher. Gradually he learns the work and becomes knowledgeable in his field. However, trouble arises only when a fresher enters the job market for work. During this period, either hardly anyone wants to hire him or he is offered a very low salary in return for the work. It is very difficult to survive due to this, especially in big cities. In such a situation, savings are a long way off. Everyone usually has to go through this.

Debate broke out on social media on salary of freshers

There is often talk of various kinds on social media regarding low salaries for freshers. Recently, a technician’s post once again sparked this debate. This person posted saying that “3.6 lakhs as a starting salary is not a bad figure, that too when you come from a tier 500 college.”

I might get in trouble, but this needs to be said:

3.6 LPA isn’t bad if you’re from a tier 500 college and lack programming skills. Don’t expect a 1Cr package without a solid project portfolio.

Don’t expect too much if your resume’s biggest highlight is your bachelor’s.

One should not expect Rs 1 crore package without a solid profile portfolio. If a bachelor’s degree is the biggest highlight on your resume, don’t expect much.”
