Did Pakistani Army itself kidnap its 16 nuclear engineers? Know who made this big allegation

Prominent human rights activist Amjad Ayub Mirza has expressed serious concern over the alleged kidnapping of 16 nuclear engineers in Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. Mirza has alleged that this incident could be the result of internal collusion and the involvement of Pakistan Army is suspected in it.

According to Mirza, reports claimed that "Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has stolen uranium from this site." But he believes the matter is more complex than that. Mirza accused the Pakistan Army of carrying out the theft of uranium as part of a larger conspiracy to smuggle it to Iran. He raised the question, "How could the TTP enter such a well-protected uranium mining site without any resistance?"

Security lapse or collusion?

Mirza also raised questions on the lack of immediate response in this incident. He said helicopters were not deployed to chase the hijackers, which indicated a serious security lapse. He termed it suspicious and termed it as possible collusion.

Mirza further alleged that Pakistan’s military has been secretly selling nuclear technology for a long time, thereby endangering global security. He appealed to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for an independent investigation into the incident.

Questions on the security of nuclear assets

Mirza expressed concern over the security of Pakistan’s nuclear assets and programs. He urged America to raise this issue in the United Nations Security Council. He says that unauthorized transfer of nuclear technology and materials is a major threat to the global Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)."text-align: justify;">This statement of Mirza has come at a time when concerns about nuclear security are increasing in Pakistan. The kidnapping of nuclear engineers has raised questions over the security of sensitive materials. He called on the international community to take immediate action and ensure the security of nuclear assets in the region.
