SEBI Chief Madhabi Puri Buch did not appear before the parliamentary committee, what happened regarding the next date – know


SEBI Chief: Securities and Exchange Board of India i.e. SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Puri Buch was to appear before the Parliamentary Committee (Public Account Committee) i.e. PAC today but she expressed her inability to come. SEBI has not appeared before the main parliamentary committee and has written a letter informing about not coming.

SEBI Chief expressed inability to come

Recently, Madhabi Puri was to appear before the PAC in connection with the allegations against the SEBI chief but she refused to come. After this, Congress MP and parliamentary committee head KC Venugopal suggested that the SEBI Chief should be given the next date to appear and this meeting should be postponed to the next time. This suggestion has been opposed by other BJP members included in the PAC.
