Lakhs of youth got job opportunities through employment fair.

The employment fair started on 22 October 2022. Recently, in the winter session of Parliament, the government had told that till now several lakh youth have been given jobs through employment fair.

PMO said that this employment fair is a big and important step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister’s commitment to give main priority to employment generation. The PMO said, ‘This will provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their participation in nation building and self-empowerment.’

Employment fair will be organized at 45 places across the country

This employment fair will be organized at 45 places across the country and the selected candidates will be made to join many ministries and departments of the Central Government. These include Home Ministry, Indian Post Department, Higher Education Department, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Financial Services Department.

Joining letters for government jobs have been given to lakhs of youth of the country for the last two years through the employment fair and the process for this has already started. The time for the employment fair and the information to prepare for it have already been given to the youth.
