The information that has come out about this Zepto app shows that people will be able to take advantage of this quick food delivery service through a separate app by the name of Zepto Cafe. The special thing is that customers will also have the option to order coffee, sandwiches and other food items through the main Zepto app.
Possibility of new tough competition in the food delivery market
It is believed that this step of the company can create new tough competition in the food delivery market. This is almost similar to what Zomato did through Blinkit. Zepto is also going to have these 2 entry points like Zomato did with its quick commerce arm.
The co-founder of the company has written in his ex-post that
We are going to launch a separate app for our Zepto Cafe next week. This step is a meaningful one and, even if it is not perfect on the first day, it will be important to launch it as soon as possible. The cafe is growing rapidly and we will launch more than 100 cafes in a month and are already receiving more than 30 thousand orders.
