Durga Puja Calendar 2025: Sharadiya Navratri has started on 22 September 2025 from Pratipada Tithi of Ashwin Shukla, which will conclude on 1 October on Navami Tithi. But the celebration of Durga Puja runs from the Shashti Tithi of Ashwin Shukla to Vijayadashami. This year, Durga Puja will start from September 28 and end on Thursday, 2 October 2025.

Durga puja ritual

In Durga Puja, Bilva invitation is given on Panchami Tithi from the beginning of worship and after that the Kalash is established. After this, the tradition of special rituals is played on every date and every date also has special significance. Especially special worship is done on Saptami, Ashtami and Navami Tithi. Before farewell to the mother on Dashami Tithi, women celebrate the vermilion in Pooja Pandal. In this, women offer vermilion at the mother’s feet and then the vermilion is used throughout the year.
