A great opportunity has come for the youth dreaming of getting a job in the Defense Research and Development Organization DRDO. In fact, the Research Center located in Hyderabad has issued a notification for recruitment for apprentice posts. The application process for this recruitment has started today from 27 September 2025 and interested candidates can apply till 28 October 2025. To apply, candidates can register by visiting DRDO’s official website drdo.gov.in.

A total of 195 posts will be recruited

A total of 195 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment. These include 40 posts of Graduate Apprentice, 20 posts of Technician Apprentice and 135 posts of ITI Trade Apprentice. This opportunity is especially for interested youth who make careers in fresher and research field.

Required Education Qualification for Application

Some qualifications and educational qualification has been fixed for the applied candidate. Of these, for the post of graduate apprentice, the candidate should have a BE or BTech degree in the respective branch. At the same time, diploma in the related subject is mandatory for the post of Technician Apprentice. Apart from this, for ITI Trade Apprentice, candidates should have an ITI certificate in trends like Fitter, Welder, Turner, Mechanist, Mechanic Diesel, Draftsman, Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Library Assistant and COPA. Apart from this, only candidates can apply, who have secured at least 70 percent marks in graduate diploma or ITI between 2021 and 2025.

Age limit and stipend

The minimum age of candidates applying for this recruitment has been fixed at 18 years and maximum age 24 years. Reserved category candidates will also be given relaxation in age limit as per the rules of the government. At the same time, candidates will also get a stipend ranging from 8000 to 9000 rupees every month. Candidates will be selected on the basis of educational qualification and technical skills. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear in the document verification and medical test. At the same time, the time of apprenticeship will be up to 1 year.

What is the application process?

1. To apply in DRDO, you can register BE or BTech candidates by visiting nats.education.gov.in.
2. At the same time, ITI Trade Apprentice candidates can register by visiting apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
3. After registration, the candidate will have to select his enrollment ID.
4. After this, after filling the information sought, you will have to submit the form after uploading all the documents.
5. After submitting the form, take out the print out of the form and keep it safe, which will be useful for you.
