PAK in fear after video of Mumbai attack mastermind went viral, ISI took this step

Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has taken 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi underground. Recently a video went viral in which Lakhvi was seen exercising. This video has created a stir internationally.

In the viral video, a bearded man was seen doing a fitness routine, following which speculations arose that the man was Lakhvi. India Today, citing the Open Source Investigation Team in its report, has said that the person shown in a video, confirmed with the help of three facial recognition programs, is Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. Lakhvi was sentenced to five years in prison by a Pakistani court in 2021 on charges of terrorist funding.

Stirring in intelligence agencies

Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, who is not only known as the mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attacks, is also accused of involvement in many other terrorist attacks in India. These include the attack on the Red Fort on 22 December 2000, in which three people were killed, two of whom were army personnel. Apart from this, 7 CRPF jawans and 2 civilians were killed in the attack in Rampur on 1 January 2008. 166 people lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, including 25 foreign nationals and 235 people were injured. Apart from this, many security personnel were also martyred in the attack on BSF convoy in Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir on 5 August 2015. Due to these attacks, Lakhvi has also been facing serious charges of spreading terrorism in India and conspiring to murder.

According to India Today sources, after the video surfaced, there was panic among Pakistani intelligence agencies and it was decided to hide Lakhvi. Lakhvi was banned by the Al-Qaeda and Taliban Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security Council after the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Although Lakhvi was arrested in 2021, he roams freely in Pakistan at his bases in Rawalpindi, Lahore and Okara.

India’s security concerns

Pakistan is going to host the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025, but BCCI has expressed its inability to send its team to Pakistan due to security reasons. The Indian team has not toured Pakistan since the 2008 attacks. Apart from Lakhvi, Mohammad Saeed, assistant professor of National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad and Zayed Haris, who calls himself an Islamic scholar, are also seen in this video. The trainer in the video has been identified as Syed Mohammad, who identifies himself as former "mr pakistan" Let us tell.

Violation of international sanctions

In the video, Lakhvi, at the age of 63, is seen doing 210 repetitions in 18 to 19 minutes, about which the trainer says that he has never seen anything like this in his career. With the emergence of this video, serious questions have been raised regarding Pakistan’s adherence to international sanctions. According to sources, Lakhvi’s arrest was only a sham.
