For some artists, recognition is more important than money because it provides validation, a sense of purpose, and can lead to fulfilling career opportunities and a lasting legacy. We have often seen several known personalities supporting new talents like singers or actors by mentoring them, offering exposure through collaborations or introductions, investing in their projects, or just by simply praising their work.
Recently, a street singer had his dream come true moment after he saw popular musician B Praak enjoying his rendition of Mann Bharrya on the streets of New Delhi. But is it actually B Praak? The internet doesn’t think so.
B Praak’s Lookalike Enjoys Mann Bharrya Rendition
In a video shared on Instagram, a street-side singer is heard performing his rendition of the popular sad romantic track, Mann Bharrya, while holding a guitar. Apart from his melodious voice, what grabbed the audience’s attention was a bald man, resembling B Praak, in the video, standing in front of him and enjoying his performance.
As the clip progresses, we see it’s actually B Praak’s lookalike, with the musician’s name tattooed on his arm and singing along with him.
How Did Social Media React?
In no time, the comment section was flooded with hilarious reactions from several users. An Instagram user commented, “Har takla B-Prak nahi hota bhai.” Another one wrote, “hamla achanak se hua tha.” One of them shared, “That’s B Prank.”
A comment reads, “B Praak from Meesho.” A user added, “B-Prank ho gaya humare sath. But you sang it beautifully, brother.” A person shared, “First copy.”
“B Praak Lite,” A User Commented. “Sasta B Praak,” wrote another.
However, the singer also shared his take on the video and clarified, “Let me tell you this story, guys, I was singing there! I am a street singer in Connaught Place. I just saw him from a distance, and the same thing happened to me, so I made this video for you guys!! Sorry, but not sorry.”
Mann Bharrya – Details
Composed by Jaani and B Praak himself, the Punjabi song was released in 2017 and became an instant hit among the audience due to its deeply emotional and relatable lyrics on the pain of uncertainty and loss in love. Later on, the song was re-created in Hindi in the biographical film, Shershaah.
