Bangladesh Hindu Violence: In Bangladesh, there was a fatal attack on lawyer Raman Roy, who was fighting the case of Hindu priest Chinmoy Krishna Das. According to the information, the lawyer has been seriously injured in this attack and has been admitted to the ICU of the hospital. ISKCON Kolkata Vice President Radharaman Das informed about this incident on social media. He says that Raman Roy’s only mistake was that he had provided legal defense to Chinmoy Krishna Das.
According to Radharaman Das, this attack on lawyer Raman Roy was carried out by Islamic fundamentalists who entered his house, vandalized it and attacked him. After this attack, Roy suffered serious injuries and was admitted to the ICU in a critical condition. Radharaman Das also posted the picture of the lawyer on social media in which his treatment is going on in the hospital.
Hearing on bail plea of Chinmoy Krishna Das
This attack has happened at a time when the bail plea of Chinmay Krishna Das is to be heard in the court on December 3. Chinmay Krishna Das who was raising voice against the attacks on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh. He was arrested from Dhaka airport last week. He has been accused of treason. India had also protested against his arrest.
