In the realm of the internet and social media, people often go to a greater extent for the sake of views and end up risking their own lives. From creating dangerous videos on mountains to performing stunts on the road, many such incidents have caught the internet’s attention where the drive to create compelling content has pushed many to the brink of danger. One such video has recently resurfaced online where a young woman accidentally slipped into a valley while attempting to make a dance real on a steep and slippery trail.
Said to be from Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district, the video originated in October this year. One can see a young woman shooting a reel amid the mountains, keeping the picturesque ranges in the backdrop. As the video opens, the woman could be seen standing on a rock holding her dupatta in the air while singing the Bollywood song ‘Bepanah Pyaar Hai’ before breaking into dance. She also runs through the uneven pathway to create a filmy scene for the video.
Unfortunately, the woman had an unexpected slip and she instantly rolled down the pasture at great speed before coming to a halt. One of the woman’s friends, who was seemingly recording the video, could be heard screaming in the background as she tried to help her.
While the video shows the woman identified as Pooja unhurt, suggesting that she had a narrow escape because of the grassy cover on the mountain, she also released another video to confirm that she slipped due to the slippery slope.
It is worth mentioning that such videos have recently drawn attention to the dangers of taking risky action for just a perfect shot. Earlier this year, a 27-year-old social media influencer lost her life after falling into a 300-foot gorge at a Maharashtra waterfall.
