A six-year-old from Pakistan has taken the internet by storm with her flawless pull shots, drawing comparisons with Indian cricketing star Rohit Sharma after a video went viral on social media platform X.
The clip showed Sonia Khan, 6, from Pakistan practising in a room and effortlessly pulling off exquisite pull shots, cover drives and straight drives with remarkable timing and skill. The iconic pull shot, Rohit Sharma’s signature style, by Sonia left several netizens impressed.
“6-year-old talented Sonia Khan from Pakistan (Plays Pull Shot like Rohit Sharma),” read the caption of the video, which has garnered over 12,000 likes and 1,000 reposts on X.
Cricket enthusiasts could not help marvelling at the girl’s talent. “Cutest thing you will see today,” said a user. “She is playing better than all the Pak players….,” quipped another.
“Look at her timing! She’s a winner,” another individual commented. Another netizen said, “She has great potential. I hope her parent keeps on cultivating her talent and give her facilities to continuously improve and then place her in the Woman’s cricket teams particularly the national team.”
“It is very difficult for her to become Rohit Sharma, but she will definitely coach the Pak women’s or men’s team in the future because they have nothing to learn from Rohit Sharma. I hope they will learn something from her,” wrote another user.
