In Agra, Uttar Pradesh, a woman faced a terrifying ordeal when a man attempted to force her to accompany him. The man even pulled out a pistol to threaten her. The incident was captured on camera, and the video is now circulating online.
According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the accused, identified as Shyamveer Singh, is a teacher at a school in Baldev, Mathura. He allegedly offered the woman Rs 5,000 to get into his car. When she ignored him, he turned aggressive and reportedly tried to force her into the vehicle. The woman’s screams drew a crowd, which forced the man to flee before police arrived.
Here’s What Exactly Happened
The woman, a 22-year-old resident of Jagdishpur, told Dainik Bhaskar that she was out with friends near Kargil Square on Saturday evening, September 20. She had stopped her scooter in front of Moon Light Hotel to drink water when two men in a car approached her. At first, they offered her money to go with them, which she ignored.
They tried again, but she continued to avoid them. Later, one of the men stepped out of the car and said, “Tumse hi keh raha hu (I’m talking to you only).” Shocked but trying to stay courageous, she moved closer to the car and asked, “Ye kya badtameezi hai? (What is this misconduct?).”
Suddenly, the men grabbed her hands and tried to force her into the car. She fought back, kicked the accused and started screaming. Her shouts drew a crowd of bystanders. Seeing himself surrounded, the accused pulled out his licensed pistol and threatened her. When one bystander stepped forward, the accused reportedly pointed the gun at him. Despite the threats, the woman continued shouting to attract even more people.
As per the report, she managed to take the accused’s car keys during the struggle. The man continued threatening her with the pistol, but eventually fled the scene before the police arrived. While escaping, he even tried to run her over with the car.
Videos Show The Confrontation
Two videos of the incident have circulated online. In the first, the woman is heard telling a bystander, “This man is torturing me and threatening me with his gun. He said, will you come with me for Rs 5,000.”
